Once upon a time in the Land of the Mechanically Disadvantaged, there lived a king named King Fulcrum. Whenever he asked any of his “loyal” subjects or his disobedient children to help him, they responded with a resounding “NO!”  (Who could blame them?  After all, it’s hard to chop down a tree with your hands.)  The King summons Ethel the Enchantress who introduces them to the six simple machines - pulley, screw, inclined plane, wheel and axle, lever and wedge - and teaches them how these machines can make their lives easier. A comedy that is an entertaining way for students to learn an important science curriculum.
